Travel Tours has been operating international packaged travel itineraries since 1977. They’ve helped thousands of people travel the world but their business has been largely offline.
Their site had a lot of content, but lacked organization and maintainability. We stepped in to restructure their individual tour pages to focus on the itinerary and encourage browsing. We introduced grouping pages by geography, used open maps to show the spread of tours available, and added character tags to represent each tour in its best light.
We also oversaw the rewriting of content for the first batch of tours to set a precedent for the balance of interest and detail. Their final sales process will remain offline, so the site serves as a library of reading for potential travelers and a reference for those getting ready to head out.
